Hello Master! Can you please give me suggestion on how to cure on having my maindoor directly opens to the landing of stairs, and my 2nd flr toilet directly above the main door too?
Our house is a split bi-level type, where the 2nd flr is the main flr (living, dining, kitchen, master’s bedroom, a bedroom adjacent to master’s, toilet -are all located in here). While the 1st flr has a family room, 2 bedrooms, toilet, laundry, small storage below the stairs and garage. We have a crawl space too where we usually store some of our stuff that we occasionally used. The maindoor faces 160deg SOUTH. Also, my maindoor is almost aligned to 2nd flr toilet & I think even on the first flr since these 1st flr toilet is under my 2nd flr toilet ( but there’s a closet in between the maindoor & 2nd flr toilet-so you’re not totally seeing the toilet door when youre at maindoor & you cannot see the 1st flr toilet since it’s aligned with the upstairs with a small storage underneath of stair).. Hope you can help me master! Thanks!

The best way to cure the maindoor facing directly the landing stair is to have a man made divider. If this is not possible then put tall plants. And for the second paragraph, not very clear on what you have described. A drawing will help. Cheers. |

Hi Master, Thanks for the advise. I was wondering how will i place the plant if there's not much space on the landing of stairs, since maindoor is there. Please see my floor plans 1st and 2nd floor. Appreciate your advice a lot! Thank you.
