train hoho2 20/6/2009
Hello Master Peter,

Chi Lin is legendary magically good for FS. What is the purpose of displaying Chi Lin in terms of FS?  May I ask how should we usually display it? Is it ok to display facing inward? Is it too powerful for us to display anywhere in the house? Please advise.
Thanks.

Dear reader,

This mystical Qi Lin or Kei Loon is depicted with the head of the dragon, body of a horse and having the scales of fish. Qi Lin is a tamed animal and symbolise auspicious. Sometimes you will see a pair of Qi Lin is presented when there are  newborns.

It is alright to place Qi Lin any where inside your house for protection.

It provides protection for homes and able to suppress Sha Qi. It can be used to stop or control Sha Qi. It can be further divided into Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water type of Qi Lin in order to counter different type of Sha Qi.

Hi Master Peter,

Thanks for your great information about Qi Lin.
What is based on to divide Qi Lin in different 5 elements? Is it divided according to its material, color, or other details?
3 Qi Lins can suppress 3 skillingss. If I buy a pair of Qi Lin with an extra little Qi Lin attached to the male Qi Lin to display, is it good to suppress 3 skillings. I meant does that count as 3 Qi Lins.

Best regards,

Dear,

It mainly divided into material and color.

‘Three Killings’ or Sam Sha is an annual inauspicious direction.

The direction of the Three Killings always occupies one of the four cardinal sectors, i.e., North, South, East or West -

so it is an affliction that covers a 90 degrees sector of the compass.

It is the direction of the year where no renovation, striking of the wall or ground or drilling is encouraged,

the avoid mishaps and calamities. As the name suggests, it will bring three types of misfortunes:

1. Robbery Sha (劫煞)- likelihood of getting robbed, losing money or valuables or misplacing important personal items.

2. Calamity Sha (灾煞)-likelihood of getting injured or taken ill.

3. Annual Sha (岁煞) - likelihood of meeting with setbacks.

Avoid renovation or construction at "Three Killing". Experience told that Qi Lin cannot suppress "Three Killings". Many times renovation being done at Sam Sha no matter how big is the Qi Lin, it still brought severe problems. My suggestion, if you really need to do renovation start from the side and end at "Three Killings". For example 2009, 3 Sha at East start at Shouth East back to East.

Hi Master Peter,

Thanks for your reply.
1. What type of Sha Qi that Qi Lin can suppress? Can I place Qi Lin in more than one sector of the house? For exmaple, I place a pair of Qi Lin in 3 sectors of my house such as living room, East sector, and office.
2. Does that meant no renovation in the sector 3 killings locate is the best way to contain 3 skillings? If I don't do any renovation, I don't need to place any cure? Is that right?
3. How do find out where the 3 killings will be next year?

Best regards,
