In which direction should the place to rear tortoises be located?

Will it affect the tortoises if any other direction is used to house the tortoises?

My mom is very superstitious and very stubborn and she insists the tortoises be put in one of the kua of the house according to feng shui, but that location is without air flow and sunshine and quite Yin in feeling.

I advised my stubborn mom to put the poor tortoises near the window for air flow and more Yang feel but she insists the kua she refers to is the best and nothing else matters.

Please advise if it is okay for the poor tortoises to exist without air flow (yes there is air but there is no air flowing/breeze) and sunshine.

Put somewhere with good air ventilation or put them inthe garden.
