Annual star affliction

Dear Master Peter,

Ive another question regarding the annual/monthly star and its effect on the house mountain and water star.

as i know, mountain star is rather inactive(yin based) while water star(yang) will be more prone to activation by the annual/monthly star(Yang)

so, does it mean i have to only solve the water star and annual star clashes with no regard to the mountain star?

example:
Mountain star is 2, water star is 3 . which is a "bull fighting sha" , while the annual star that falls on that particular sector is 9

does it make,  wood born fire, fire born earth ? and in order to exhaust it i use metal?

or i only take into account just wood born fire, which 9 is a good star.?

hope im not too much of a nuisance , but i was trying to learn hard on it.

thanks for your patience
regards,

Master Peter

Normally, we only focus on water/annual star which is more active then will take in mountain star.
