Hi, Can i know if I painted my old house (period 7) door and have changed my table top stove 2-3 years back, does it mean my house is now under Period 8? Also, are the degrees for the Eight manion chart based on geographic or magnetic north? When transfering the Eight mansion chart to my house plan. eg. if my house face 354deg N (geographic N), do i reference the middle of my house plan to the main door at 354deg, then draw the different sectors base on North 337.5 to 22.5 degree, NE sector 22.5 to 67.5 degree...and so forth? Thank you so much

True north is a constant and refers to the geographic. Magnetic north tends to shift and refers to the pole of the Earth's magnetic field. The study of feng shui and its analysis is on superimposing qi fields of which gravity and magnetism are major players. Feng shui has to be based on the magnetic directions. Magnetic north is therefore to be used in measuring directions. If yuour main stove that you used every day iwas changed, your house is perid 8. You use the facing of the main door and divide the house into 9 sector. 8 mansion uses the 8 side sector. Cheer.
