Dear Master,

1. Which is more effective? flying stars or 8 mansions?

2. What happens if the flying stars are favourable but the sector based on  8 mansions is not favourable or vice versa?

3. Changing of period involving renovations- if there is a major reno (changing tiles and extension) but no chnaging of roofs, does this change the period of the house?

4. For apartments, what is the facing direction? facing of the block or balcony?

Kindly advise.

Kevin Khong

Hi,

1. Both is important. Use the combination of two.

2. This depends on case to case basis and decide based on what is your priority and what you intend to gain.

3. Renovation without chaning the roots do not change the period.

4. Main door facing. You are not climbing into your unit through the balcony and not the owner of the building.

Cheers,

Thanks Master.

What happens if the sheng qi sector has a 2-5 flying stars and tian yi has 9-5 combination?

 How do we combine?

Kindly advise.

p.s. Master, still waiting for your advice :-)

In general term, that Sheng Qi or Tian Yi is related to Eight Mansions. Eight Mansions tends for suitability, while Flying Star is the feng shui influence of the house itself.  Both does not really directly affect each other. Each concept is for different issue.
Imagine that a sector is suitable for you, but this sector still can be bad in term of feng shui.
So the bad stars (2,5) or (5,2) still have to corrected.

Star 2 is Illness while star 5 is misfortune. When these two stars meet in the same sector it forms strong Earth influence.
So it is considered very bad. It is best that such stars if possible fall in rooms such as toilet, storeroom or less useful rooms.
The traditional feng shui cure if possible is to use either the windchime or the chinese 6 coins (threaded together by a red string).
This cure represents strong Metal cure.

Thanks Master.

Which influence is bigger on the house and occupants? 8 mansion or flying stars?

Thanks Master.

I was told that flying stars bring fast results. 8 mansion long term results.

True?

Master Peter

Both can be for short or long term. Both also can bring fast results.

Thanks Master.

However, I am of the opinion that the effects of flying stars are faster.

What about other readers?

Kindly reply Master.

Last question Master.

If a room is in tian yi sector but has a 2-5 combination and another room in jue ming but has a 8-8 combination, which room do you advise your client to use?

Many thanks.
