Hi Master, I am about to buy a house that has three square pillars on the porch. I have the option of installing a fourth one, but the fourth one would partially block a window in the front. Is it auspicious to have even or odd pillars in the front? Also, should I replace the square pillars with round ones? The house is facing East. My kua number is 4. Thank you! |

It is acceptable to have pillars at the car porch. If you have two pillars on either side on the main door and the other is not very near the main door it is perfectly acceptable. 1. The pillars should never slice thru the main door. If one stands at the main entrance looking out; one of the pillars should not be slicing into the main door area. 2. Unlike the `mass' of a large building's edge, square pillars are of minimal or negligble `threat'. 3. The Pillar should not DIRECTLY in front of your main door 4. The pillars should not be very huge and blocking the incoming Qi. And to answer your questions 3 pillars are acceptable. Round and square pillars are both acceptable. Regards, |
