Dear master, I notice that in modern days, people used to put this and put that inside their home and office. And the number Feng Shui retail shops are mushrooming very fast. What I want to ask is about feng shui is it really an art of placement or interior design decoration? How do we define by harmonizing ourselves with nature using Feng Shui. Help will be appreciated. Thanks |

Feng Shui, it is definitely not about interior design or what you mentioned here as a art of placement. We realised that many people are concern about what colour schemes for decorating, arranging of furniture and so on ... BUT these are not part of the ancient Feng Shui studies. It is true to say that Feng Shui is about direction and location and how we going to assess the quality of life through observations and analysis of our environment. Feng Shui is again not about living in harmony with "nature" but rather how we're able to tap from the external energy 'Qi' flow by observation of the forces between Heaven and Earth. By doing this we are able to use feng shui arragnments to gather the good energy for us to use. |
