Dear Master Peter,

If a house has a wooden power and telephone pole right in the middle of backyard or along the back fence, is that ok? Will it cause some bad qi for the house? How do we do if that is the case? The neighborhood we are looking for is old and built back to 1960's so every two houses have a telphone pole. They weren't berried underground.

In general it is no good to have pole in the middle of our backyard. However, one have to look at the house as a whole in order to decide if it really harmful.

Hi Master Peter,

I actually don't feel good about a pole right in the middle of the house. However, it is rare in that neighborhood. Most of the time, the pole is right on either left or right side corner of the backyard.

The house we like has no pole at all but the left neighbour's backyard has a pole which is probably 54 intches away from our favorite house's side fence. It is 54 intches away from boderline.  Is that ok?

I don't know anyone here can know about FS. I wonder if I sent you a picture of the house. Will that help you to determine?
