facing direction of a ground floor flat

Dear Peter,

we live in a ground floor flat, and the entrance to the building is on the side.

The front of the building with most of the windows and balcony of our flat looks out onto a busy main road, while the front door to our flat faces the back of the building (another flat actually).

Which would be the facing direction of our flat? For a better idea I am attaching a foto of the front of the building, with the flat framed in red.
