I live in a village house with water in front and at the back. Water also  flow from  the front to the back.

Is this bad?

You have to see the house entirely as one big picture together with the environment. It can be good or bad depending on the precise directions of the water and your house's luck. If your luck is smooth then leave it but if you are really in bad shape then you must do something.
