Hi Peter,

In USA, the car garage is indoor and connected with the house. It has roof and a big steel gate. The wash machine and dryer are in the garage other than parking the car. But we don't use the area for family activities, it is only for parking. So when I divide the house layout for 8 mansions, should I also include the car garage for 8 mansions ?

Please advise.

If the area is connected to your main area and fully enclosed you need to include them.

Sorry for my late feedback as just came back from a trip.

There is a door behind garage to get in the family room of the first level so I guess it meets the Master's criteria 1 - connected to the main area of my house. We will use this door to get in to the house in the future, too. It is fully enclosed with the wall though there are a side door to the side yard, a back door to the family room, and of course a front gate. I supposed it is still definied as "fully enclosed". However, I forgot to mention from last request that above garage (2nd floor of the garage) is a balcony. Please see photo below. Is that still ok to include the garage into 8 mansions plan? Please comment.

Yes, include the garage. Each floor needs to have a separate 8 mansions drawing.
