Hi Peter,

I was told that should not use indoor fountains because is bad for me, kua number 2, rat, Main door of house facing south1.  I wanted to put one in the north to boost prosperity, is that bad to have a water fountain? and why

It is not very safe to base just on what you have told here. When water is used it is best use in some form of Feng Shui arrangements or formations like water at North, at West and at South East or water at North and North West sectors with mountain at South West for some chosen houses facing North.
