Do we need to select a good date to change all the toilets of a house? 

It depends on how extensive is your renovation. If you are going to demolish your toilets and build a new one, it is better to get a good day to start. If this is the case it will be better to move the toilets to some place useful where it can suppress the bad Qi. If juts painting or changing doors you do not need to select a date.
