I have 7 Mop top trees about 3m tall in front of my W facing #8 home. Their leaves fall during Autumn. They provide great shade in summer and we cut them right back in winter. I have been advised to remove them and only leave two trees on either side of the gate. These trees must be removed as they are making my finances bad. Is this correct, do I have to remove them? Is there a remedy I can put in place to overcome this? BTW our finances are bad and I'm not sure if it's the trees? But given that it's a number 8 west facing house has not been good for us.
