Hi Master,

I have a few questions regarding the DO:

1) I am a weak Ding DM and Ren (my DO) sits next to me on the Month column and combines with Ding to form Wood which is a useful element for me. Does this 3-Combination indicate that I should have a life-long close relationship with my spouse? DM and DO are both rooted in this case. But my spouse palace element is not ideal.

2) What is the signficiance in having a DO in the heavenly stem of the Month column BUT rooted in the Year column?

3) This year Snake clashes with the Pig (where my DO is rooted). does it mean that my DO can be taken away? Or does a Snake - Ox combindation (between year and my spouse palace Ox) override that? I'm not sure which is more important.

4) Is it true that having a DO appear in the heavenly steam and rooted in the natal chart mean that the DO can appear at any time in life and not bounded by luck pillar?

5) I heard that people who are 6 years apart clashes and should not marry. Is this further WORSENED when the elements of each element is doubled by the element of the year - for example a Ding Si and Gui Hai relationship is especially bad because it's Yin Fire-Yin Fire vs Yin Water-Yin Water?

Have to see the whole chart. Not really good to just based on what you have described here.

The position of DO is difinetely very significant. Luck pillar is very imprortant and you just cannot ignore them.

The 6 years apart stuff, theoretical yes but there are many couple whose marriage are perfectly fine.
