There are many occasions when a person BaZi Four Pillars of Destiny has only two elements. This type of BaZi chart can be auspicious or can also be bad. It will depend on the two elements or the ten gods.
First of all, I would like to remind all my readers that the final decision on two elements is based on the BaZi ten gods or elements AFTER combination and transformation. Combinations that are not able to transform remain as their original BaZi fengshui elements. Your initial BaZi chart may not be only two elements before the combination but after the transformation it becomes one.
BaZi Four Pillars with two element will be bad if
“the two elements or 10 gods are enemies”
and very bad when
“the bad elements are much stronger that good elements; hostile gods are much stronger than useful gods”
In Chinese this is called 兩神相違 “liang shen xiang wei”
If you are having this type of “liang shen xiang wei”, I am afraid it is not good. It is bad because when your Ta Yun is having your useful gods 用神 “yong shen” they will fight fiercely with your hostile gods. When your Ta Yun is having your hostile gods the situation will become worst. Either one, you will have a lose-lose or no-win situation.
Now take a real person BaZi.
Chart 1. Her BaZi chart.
1. Before any combination and transformation, her BaZi Four Pillars chart is not having only two types of elements. But once combined her BaZi Four Pillars chart become two elements.
“Do not ignore combinations (obvious one or hidden) and transformations. They are very important.”
2. She has two half-combination of "Indirect wealth" Pian-cai 偏财 (才) which made her hostile gods 忌神 “ji shen” very strong.
3. She also have her useful gods "Indirect Resource"Pian-yin 偏印 (卩) and these stars are not weak.
Her hostile gods is much stronger that her useful gods. By having only "Indirect Resource"Pian-yin 偏印 (卩) and "Indirect wealth" Pian-cai 偏财 (才) which are long lasting enemies, whether she is having useful gods or hostile gods in her Ta Yun, she will suffer.
See what happened to her in her third Ta Yun in my part 2 of this article.
