You should only putting in your fengshui arrangements for 2012 starting from "Li Chun" the start of Spring which fall on 4 Feb 2012 and ends on 3 feb 2013.

You should only do your fengshui arrangement for 2012 starting from "Li Chun" and not immedaitely on the first day of Chinese Lunar New Year which fall on 23 Jan 2012. In some years Chinese New Year fall after the start of spring "Li Chun".

Chinese Astrology was developed since thousand years ago. Many Chinese were told that the Bazi is from the Chinese Lunar Calendar. But the fact is that Chinese Astrology is only related to the sun, not moon. The astrology months are from solar segment “Jie Qi” months, not lunar months. The astrology days are “Kan Chih” Stem-Branch Day, which is nothing to do with moon. BaZi Four Pillars of Destiny always based on “Jie Qi” the Festive energy or Qi to different which month or year you was born.

When should I start putting my fengshui arrangement or fengshui application? From 4 Feb or from the first day of lunar Chinese New Year?

Every year fengshui afflictions and fengshui arrangement are based on “Jie Qi” therefore it always applicable from “Li Chun” onwards for example for 2012 it is from 4 Feb 2012 to 3 Feb 2013. Therefore only place your fengshui arrangement from 4 Feb onwards and not from the first day of Chinese New Year. Many times the first day of Chinese New Year fall after 4 Feb.
