According to our personal Kua, each one of us will have our own auspicious facing direction. This is for him or her to enjoy better fortune or luck. Assuming that his auspicious direction is north and his house faces south what he can do about it if he is unable to move house?

In determining the fengshui of a house, one must not assign its facing or direction solely based on his personal Kua. Remember personal Kua is for your personal facing direction. You still can have a house facing south but for personal gain you can still sit facing north and sleep with your head pointing north. We call this mapping one personal’s luck.

According to priority, the first thing to look out is the shape of the plot of land. This would tell the geomancer whether a house should be built on it and would it be the right place. If the house was already build on the plot of land, than you will only have to accept the fengshui of land of the house is good, bad or so-so.

The second priority is to study the surrounding area; the landscape, the mountains, building, ponds, roads, signs, traffic and others features that will their respective effects on the house. If you are given the luxury to buy a land to build your own dream house, when you find the shape of land or the surroundings are found to be unfavorable, you can always find another location and another piece of land.

Assuming that both the land and its surrounding are in harmony, and then the next thing is the location and facing of the main door. You will also need to check the BaZi Four Pillars of Destiny of the family members that are going to stay in the house. Each facing will have 15 degree. You will need to find out which facing is the most auspicious. For this you will need to use of 3 steps DIY fengshui tool.
