How are some people able to effortlessly lead and inspire others,
whilst other meet with constant criticism and continous failure?
How to check if we have these kind of qualities so we can be potential leaders?
Have you ever find yourself in the position to hire some personnel that need leadership, plan to employ a Team Leader, a Manager or Head of Department?
The relevant star to look for in your natal chart is the Officer Star Zheng-guan 正官 and Qi-sha 七杀 .
In BaZi term, it is the element that counters the Day Master 日元 .
For a Wood Day Master, the Officer star is the Metal element.
The Metal Day Master is countered by the Fire element.
The Fire Day Master is controlled by the Water element.
The Water Day Master is countered by the Earth element and
the Earth Day Master is countered by the Wood element.
Remember when your officer star being combined and transformed into other element (not the same as the officer element), it is no longer considered as an officer star.
The Officer star take care of discipline and control. Able to make firm correct decision and to take responsibility are two main factors that separate a leader from his pack.
When the Officer star is in the Heavenly Stem (the upper characters),
the leadership quality is more prominent and comes naturally.
When it is in the Earthly Branch, he still has the talent but not showing thmm and they need to be trained.
Theer are always two aspect of the Officer star. Positive or negative, good or bad.
When positive, you are ambitious, you tend to put yourself in your staff’s shoe to understand their difficulties.
You control with examples and you command respect, you inspire not command, have confidence and belief, are willing to admit mistakes,
delegate where appropriate, willing to listen and learn from others, humble and humility.
You listen to criticism without getting emotionally upset
You are not autocratic, but, at the same time you have the strength to pursue strategies, even if temporarily unpopular.
A positive Officer star motivates and drives the team with passion. Under such leaders, team members look forward to work.
Again, all the above good quality still depend on the strength of the officer stars. They can be strong with support, have stars but no support, weak or even dead.
