Master,  some say that a house built in period 7,  if unlucky in period 8, then can change to period 8 by  doing major renovation of changing roof and floor, etc.  is that true.

in that case, if period 8 is not good, then can something be done to change to period 9 now itself, or should they wait for period 9.

or if period 7 was good and if period 8 is bad, then can something be done, to retain the luck of period 7 even if major rework of house was needed because it was old house.

You must be in the period in order to change into that partiular period. For example, if a house is changed into period 8, it cannot changed back to period 7 and it cannot change to period 9 and have to wait until period 9.
