• In my front door (Facing S2), 2 Black Palace, how can I promote my 8 Mt. Star (6 Water) and diminish the 2 Palace? This Palace is also F2, so will metal diminish them both? I have put a pile of 3 largish rocks on the deck outside the front door.
• Also, my NW8 Palace (2Mt./3 Water) is H2. Will adding fire promote 8, but cause bad health with 2Mt.? This is the back door area.
• Last question. I live in a Period 7 house with all palaces (Mt.) adding up to 10. Will these combinations be of benefit now in Period 8, or just in Period 7.

1. Yearly stars are always stronger the house stars. Putting metal will diminish star #2. However, if you are going through your good luck cycle, #2 and #5 stars are also your "indirect wealth". Putting cures outside the house has no relevant effect. Good luck cycle is read from your Bazi.
2. Yes, fire will promote #8 wealth star but your still need to put water.  This is because strong fire will burn earth and it will not produce wealth. Water is a better choice to promote #8 wealth star.
3. Combination of 10 still works.
