I'm confused when looking at houses to buy (Feng Shui)

Hi, I've just recently discovered this site and now I'm really confused when looking at houses to buy. Both me and my partner are east group people, our kua numbers are 3 and 4 so I thought looking at houses that face our favourable directions would be good, seeing that our current apartment that we are trying to sell is facing west and it has not been that great for us.
The two houses we are interested in face south and north (S1 and and N1-2 not sure), both had recently installed kitchens that would make them period 8 houses and they both score 3 or so stars. They are both end of terrace houses in cul de sacs and they both need some work on them.
So my question is if I should aim to only find houses that have three or more stars or should I try to make sure the main door faces one of our favourable directions or is it ok for us to look at houses that face west for example?
And out of two houses which one would you pick?
Obviously I'll order a full chart once we move somewhere, but at the moment this is confusing.
Thanks!

We select house based on HOUSE KUA NOT PERSONAL KUA.
The reason is if your house is unfavorable to both health & wealth (some houses even suppress both wealth/health)
no matter which direction you face (even the house is facing your best direction personal kua), you will still face obstructions.

Bear in mind some houses either favor wealth or health but not both. You have to decide which one to choose.

So to answer your question, USE HOUSE KUA and make sure with three and more stars.
If more than one houses are short listed then decide based on their layout or floor plans to make sure favorable rooms are auspicious and usable especially living room, master bedroom and kitchen. For example Wealth area (Tian Yi) should not fall into bathroom and your master bedroom not at your "Five Ghost".

Another thing to bear in mind, external environment is very important too. House in cul de sacs need extra precautions.

Only after this, you can choose a good room (Seng Qi, Tian Yi LOCATION),  arrange you working desk and you sit facing your best personal DIRECTION.  Here I highlight the different between LOCATION and DIRECTION.

Look around, you will notice some houses with big family having more than 7-8 family members and all of them are doing pretty well even many, if not all having different Kua. The reason is their house is having an auspicious facing direction based on house Kua.

Thank you Master Peter! It's much clearer now!

Both houses I looked at are the first in the cul de sac so you have to go past them to get to the other houses, is that bad or good?

And another question, is having a big open plan living, dining and kitchen bad? I was thinking of doing this in one of the houses that has small separate kitchen and living and dining together. Dining table would be in the centre of the room and would fall into the centre of the house.

It looks like that one of the houses is good so that five ghost would be storage and Tian Yi would be the main bedroom.

Without actually looking at the house location, I cannot say whether it is good or not. Do you feel rushing Qi whenever a car coming towards your house?

Open concept is perfectly fine. Just make sure your cooking area (stove) is not directly facing your main door and not directly in-front of your bathroom.

Thank you, I don't live there yet, still looking to buy.
The house looks peaceful and the energy feels good inside, but you never know.
Thanks for clearing up the open concept for me!
