Hi Master Peter, I have read on some blogs describing that each tayun in a person's natal chart represents a period that is meant for the chart holder to learn something. Even if the tayuns in the beginning may be tough, eventually, if the chart holder survives, the remaining tayun is also the fruit of their development resulting from earlier tayuns. With regards to the different gods in each tayun, what kind of learning can each one represent to a chart? I have this birth chart (I do not know of the birth time) of a female child, born 12 August 2008. I may be wrong, but she looks like a strong Ji earth daymaster(?). Her parents relationship is not ideal and not a source of stability for her since birth - she was born out of wedlock. When she went into her first tayun (8 years old) of Bing Chen (Direct Resource), somehow her parent finally got married to each other, but instead of stability, the parents relationship became more volatile, and she somehow has an increasingly hard time with her parents. She is also often shuffled from one relatives home to another and then back with her parents. This is just her first tayun. In her next two tayuns, are both pure rooted wood (Direct officer/7 killing pillars), starting when she is 18 (from this online calculator that I referred to). What kind of learning is represented by the Direct officer/7k tayun? What would be the things she need to strengthen to help her face her upcoming challenges? I wish to offer her some words of encouragement when I see her, and am quite worried for her future. Thank you!

All years and TaYun are governed by their Ten Gods 十神, elements and palaces. It does not work the way that you have described. What you said can be correct sometimes but it's correct not because of the beginning or ending of TaYun. It's because of how their Ten Gods 十神, elements and palaces reacted. Some even said the the TaYun stem governs the first 5 years and branch governs the remaing 5 years which is wrong. 12 Aug 2008 is JiaShen 甲申 and not Ji 己 earth. Cheers.

She doesn’t have a good chart. Ten Gods 十神 are weak and hidden. Hope they reveal and have root in her hour pillar. Fire is about her mum and water is about her dad. This fire/water clash bring a lot of instability with her parents. 乙卯 YiMao TaYun will see many changes. This include career and love life. Ask her to choose something she likes and work on it. This more likely some form of skill instead of the school type. In term of love life, she might meet someone and get married and this marriage might face some issues. If can advise her to work on her skill more and start from there. Her later TaYun are better. How are you? It’s been a while since I’ve heard from you. Cheers. |

Hi Master Peter, Thank you for your guidance and clear explanation as always. Will let the relatives around her know about enhancing skill based interests and see what else can be done. It is sad to see families like this, the children really suffer. I am still surviving, buried under a lot of work, but glad to have sustained income through these bad times. I should be moving in a few months' time, waiting for the approval of work permit. Hope you are keeping healthy and safe in this pandemic. |
