Dear Master Peter, I understand that for 择日it is better to avoid year breaker . So does it matter if it is day breaker? If day master is 申 , is it better not to choose 巳 day? What if my year pillar is 酉, does the combination with 巳day neutralises the day breaker? Thank you.

One is 择日 which you find an auspicious day and normally it only takes year branch aka your animal sign. The other is matching the auspicious day with your BaZi which need to see all your 8 characters + 2 chars from TaYun + 2 chars from year + 2 char from month. and at last look at the characters (stem and branch) of the day, all 16 stems and branches. This process will also look into Ten Gods 十神 and their elements. Cheers. |
