Life Grave Sheng Ji? (Feng Shui)

Dear Master,

I just recently attended a talk about buying a burial plot for doing "sheng ji / life grave" for a living person even way before he is dead! And the salesman says this is for good luck if the plot is situated in a very good feng shui location. What kind of madness is this that a young man would need a ready grave along with his own tombstone, way in advance of his death, to generate better luck?

I am sure life is balanced, so assuming the person really gets good luck in return of having a personal tomb, what about the negative side effects or shortcomings that come with such feng shui ritual?

Interestingly, there were few stories of people actually having their lives extended longer when they bought a coffin and put in in the house in anticipation of early death due to sickness, etc.

This kind of ritual is getting more and more popular especially during hard time. The reasoning is to grave the person's belonging like hair, nail, blood etc and let them absorb the good chi from the environment. It will work but not for everyone. Positive in one way but negative effect…

Cheers.
