Climbing plants (Feng Shui)

Dear Master,

I read a Chinese Calendar book which is a bit like Ton Shu in which it suggested it is better not to have any climbing plants in the house. Having this kind of plants (like vinery plants) could trigger law suits,  ??, etc. Do you agree?

Our new house we bought has a wall of climbing plants along with the fence. It has been there for a long time (I guess) from previous owner. I will show you the pictures. Do you think I should trim it down and cut it off? The root is pretty giantic. What is your best suggestion? Thanks so much.

Bob

The goal of feng shui is ultimately to create an environment which you will feel comfortable in. Most people should find that a home with plants or a beautify garden very relaxing to be around. Thus, plants no matter what variety are always used.

I would consider the sha qi created as minor. As long as it still create a very nice decor and/or act as a protection, why not?

Cheers.
