Hi Master,
Hope you are doing well. Can you give me some advice on this matter?
Some neighbors feed large numbers of birds, which often attracts crows. Does this have any impact in Feng Shui?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, in Feng Shui, feeding large numbers of birds especially attracting crows can create certain imbalances, particularly if it's happening near your home frequently.
Let’s look at this in practical Feng Shui terms.
Why it can be problematic in Feng Shui?
1. Yin Qi Accumulation (阴气聚集)
- Large numbers of birds, especially noisy or dark-feathered birds like crows, can indicate or contribute to heavy Yin energy.
- Too much Yin Qi can lead to
Emotional instability (e.g. anxiety, worry)
Poor sleep or restless energy in the home
Reduced motivation, especially for young people or those sensitive to energy
2. Sha Qi (煞气) from Noise and Mess
- Constant bird noise, droppings, or feathers can become a form of Sha Qi (disruptive energy).
- Especially if
The feeding is very close to your main door or windows
There's a bad smell, uncleaned mess, or attracts pests
Birds perch near your roof, balcony, or air conditioning units
3. Crows Specifically
- Crows are linked with unwanted energy, bad news, or Yin spirits in Chinese culture.
- Seeing them occasionally isn’t a major concern, but if they gather frequently, it may reflect:
Stagnant energy
An imbalance in the neighborhood environment
Feng Shui Remedies
- Keep your area clean and active: Birds don’t like high human activity. Keep your own area bright, clean, and lively.
- Use light, movement, and sound
Wind chimes (not too loud and this allowed)
Light-reflecting objects like Ba Gua mirrors (only if properly placed)
- Protect your Qi
Keep windows closed or curtained when birds gather
Avoid placing beds or desks directly where birds gather outside
Feeding birds in small numbers is fine, but large gatherings especially of crows can bring noise, mess, Yin Qi, and symbolic unease in Feng Shui. It's not automatically disastrous, but it does indicate a Qi imbalance in the environment, which can subtly affect mood, health, or fortune over time.

Thank you Master for your kindness.
Nowadays, my mother gets sick easily.
I will try to talk to them and at the same time follow your advice.
Thank you,
