By using the five elements we use
1. The nature of the element for example fire is heat thus jobs related to electric are fire related.
2. The state of the element for example wood stays at one place and planted into earth (soil) thus all jobs that need to spend most of the time staying at one place belong to wood. For example, teachers and doctors. Take another example. Earth also stay at one place and the foundation of all plants and thus all jobs that spend most of the time at one corner like office workers, painters and also doctor belong to earth. You will notice that doctor has both earth and wood element.
The most common method use by the general is to match the day master with the element. For example wood day master match with wood related jobs. But this matching sometimes work and sometimes not work because they ignore the favorability of the element.
When we use five elements to select a job, you can only merely see your career orientation but no matter what you are unable to see how far you can go or the level of achievement that you can get. By using five elements you cannot tell if one is the employee or the business owner and when you will become the CEO.
The most accurate is to use Ten Gods 十神. You get to know which job is good for you and when is your ups and when is your downs. By using 十神 you can see if you are merely the general office wokers, the manager or the chief officer CEO.
