An old house instantly changed to period 8

Hi Master Peter,
I knew you have replied this question many times but I don't want to misunderstand so I would like double confirm with you.
Any house which is built after Feb 2004 would be period 8. An old house (i.e. built before Feb 2004) is sold to a new family. When the new family move in to this old house this year, is this old house instantly changed to current period, period 8 because of ownership's change?
Except changing stove, the change of ownership is the way to change house period 8 without doing any renovation? Why?

The changing of ownership is about fate (Heaven), the property (Earth) and is about you (man). That is why.
